Minimum hours per week: 30 Hours/ week
Maximum hours per week: 40 Hours/week
Minimum hourly rate (low salary range): $25.50
Maximum hourly rate (high salary range): $35.00
This job is required to perform: (specific duty tasks)
- Massaging the soft tissues of the body, such as muscles, tendons and ligaments to assist healing.
- Utilize a range of Thai massage techniques.
- Administer treatments to promote relaxation, improve circulation & relieve muscle tension.
- Assessing and treating specific soft tissue dysfunction and provide rehabilitation advice.
- Assessing the clients’ physical condition and case history and advise on stretching exercises and relaxation techniques.
- Perform therapeutic massage in accordance with best practice.
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene in the storage and preparation of massage materials.
- Follow all company safety procedures.
- Work with a positive attitude and follow all lawful instructions.
- Have at least 2 years of relevant experience; OR
- Any Skill Standard Assessment Certificate as a Traditional Thai Massage Practitioner OR
- an NZ diploma in Massage and job experience of at least 1 year in a Thai Massage businesses OR
- At least bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 6 months of relevant experience working at a Thai Massage business
