Truck driver

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking staff members. We have contracts in the Waikato area, and we depend on our reliable hard-working staff to ensure the timely delivery of goods. Health and Safety and attention to detail are important in this role.

• You will be picking up deliveries and making sure the correct processes are followed for tracking goods as per our procedures.
• Making contact with customers to confirm delivery details.
• Getting customers to sign off on deliveries as needed and taking photos for evidence purposes.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg as needed and able to safely use lifting equipment.
• Learn about our delivery area and be strategic in how to determine the delivery route.
• Make sure that goods are loaded in a safe and secure manner that matches with the delivery route too.
• Have a good awareness of ongoing vehicle maintenance doing daily vehicle checks before heading on the road.
• Confident in manoeuvring the van in tight spaces
• Able to work well as part of a small team
• Trustworthy and reliable

• Clean New Zealand driver’s licence and maintain your licence while working for us.
• Ability to get a Class 4 and class 5 licence
• Experience in a similar driving role for at least 2 years
• Able to lift up to 20 Kg

Due to the nature of our industry a New Zealand police check will be required. You are delivering items to customer homes and commercial sites. So we need a person who follows health and safety requirements.
