We are looking for 2 full-time cooks to assist at a well-known restaurant at World Dark Sky Reserves Lake Tekapo, which has a backdrop of snow mountains, beautiful lupin flowers, and a stunning Tiffany-blue lake.
We are looking for 2 cooks to join our dynamic company to bring our business to a new level.
This offer is a full-time position with minimum 30 hours per week based on shifts.
l Monitoring the quality of cooked foods during preparation and presentation.
l Preparing and cooking and seasoning food.
l Regulating temperatures of the cooking equipment.
l Portion food, placing on plates or takeaway boxes and adding gravies and sauces.
l Responsible for storing food in temperature controlled facilities.
l Prepare dietary food to meet the customer’s special needs.
l Planning and adjusting menus accordingly if needed.
l Keeping kitchen tidy and clean and meeting cleaning and safety standards.
Role Requirements:
- Certificate in Cookery;
- Bachelor or above at any fields;
- 2 year working experiences in relevant fields;
- Flexibility around working hours on weekends and holidays;
- No criminal convictions
