Trade Support Team Member - Kaitaia
With a flexible, can-do attitude, you'll manage customer enquiries, offer product advice, prepare quotes and pricing, and find solutions that meet our customer needs.
- Engage with customers and suppliers face to face, over the phone, and via email
- Recommend suitable products, process orders, and manage sales documentation
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to track orders and arrange timely deliveries
- Take clear briefs from stakeholders and prepare accurate quote documentation
- Collaborate with Account Managers and Team Leaders to capture opportunities through daily and weekly planning
Permanent full-time role based at PlaceMakers Kaitaia offering 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
About You:To succeed in this role, you will be more than just a sales support person, you'll be a natural communicator and relationship builder who understands the needs of our customers. Your experience in the building or construction industry, combined with strong knowledge of building materials and products, means you know how to connect with builders, can identify opportunities, and act as a trusted advisor to deliver tailored solutions and assistance.
- Bring a strong work ethic, approachable nature and committed to delivering great service
- Ability to manage competing priorities, meet tight deadlines, and perform under pressure
- Highly organised with sharp attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Tech-savvy and comfortable working across multiple systems
- Previous experience in a similar trade customer focused role
- Knowledge of the building product & materials or an understanding of the building and construction industry is preferred
