We’re looking for a friendly, reliable, and proactive Part-time Garden Centre Team Member to join our team. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role supporting day-to-day garden centre operations.

What you’ll do:

• Welcome and assist customers with plant and garden product selection
• Provide practical plant care advice and confident product recommendations
• Grow sales through excellent customer service (not pushy selling)
• Unload and replenish plants, pots, and garden goods
• Maintain high merchandising standards and tidy, well-presented displays
• Carry out basic plant care, including watering and stock condition checks
• Support front counter/checkout when required
• Assist other departments as needed

What we’re looking for:

• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
• Comfortable working outdoors year-round
• Lifting and physical movement is required
• Must be able to work on a roster including a weekend day
• Reliable, organised, and able to prioritise during busy periods

Experience:

• Experience in a garden centre, nursery, landscaping, or garden retail is preferred
• Experience with both green and dry goods is an advantage
• Applicants with strong retail/customer service experience and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply
