This is a great opportunity to use your skills to make a difference in the lives of our whānau!Looking for Nurse Practitioner who is interested in supporting research projects and has extensive experience in Lung Cancer.Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About the RoleWe have a part-time permanent position (12 hours/week) available for a highly motivated Nurse Practitioner with Lung Cancer experienceIn this role the Nurse Practitioner will practise both independently and in collaboration with other health care professionals to support research projects, promote health, prevent disease and to diagnose, assess and manage health needs.About YouWe are seeking a nurse with the following essential skills:· At least 8 years’ experience· Registration with Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ)· A current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)· Registered with the nursing council NZ as a Nurse Practitioner with a minimum of 2 years of meeting nursing council requirements for a Nurse Practitioner· An understanding of the significance of and obligations under Te Tiriti o Waitangi, including how to apply Te Tiriti principles in a meaningful way in your role· Demonstrate alignment with Te Toka Tumai valuesFor all aspects of this role and experience/knowledge required please see the Position Description.Working at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
