You will step into a fast-paced interim CIO role, providing strong leadership across multiple transformation projects. You will work closely with executive leadership, internal teams, and external vendors to shape and deliver strategic outcomes while remaining pragmatic and hands-on.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the execution of multiple technology and digital transformation programmes
• Provide strategic direction and governance for technology initiatives
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure delivery success
• Build capability within a small, dedicated internal technology team
• Operate at both strategic and operational levels, as needed
• Communicate progress to executive stakeholders with clarity and confidence

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CIO or senior technology executive leading transformation in complex environments
• Strong understanding of the NZ health sector or similar regulated environments preferred
• Excellent vendor management and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to lead from the front—both strategically and operationally
• Exceptional communication, resilience, and change management abilities
