About the RoleWe are looking for a rotational Occupational Therapist to work within our acute inpatient services at Whakatāne Hospital. This is a permanent full-time position. You will be working as part of an established interdisciplinary team covering an array of conditions, including orthopaedic, paediatrics, acute care unit, emergency department, neurological and general medical conditions who require assessment and rehabilitation and also often have complex social and discharge planning needs.
The acute services team work closely with the rehabilitation team for growth and development in this area. About the Team/Service/ LocationThe role is based in the Te Koru Rehabilitation department which houses the community, outpatient and acute services teams creating a great opportunity to work with a variety of professions, and services in our vibrant and supportive department.
