HVAC Technician
We are a well-recognised New Zealand-owned Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, and Heat Pump Specialist with operations nationwide. Due to continued business growth and increasing demand, we are expanding our Auckland technical team.
We are currently seeking experienced HVAC Technicians to join our professional and supportive Auckland team.
About the Role:As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out installations, servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across a wide range of commercial and industrial systems.
Key Responsibilities:Carry out installation of air conditioning and refrigeration units in accordance with New Zealand and Australian standards
Conduct general servicing and preventative maintenance
Perform fault diagnostics and repairs across commercial and industrial customer sites
Work from electronic daily job allocation schedules
Inspect, refurbish, and repair refrigeration systems
Diagnose faults and replace faulty components and mechanisms
Complete jobs within estimated timeframes
Accurately complete all required paperwork and service documentation
What We’re Looking For: Minimum 3 years’ relevant HVAC/Refrigeration industry experience
Relevant industry qualifications are preferred but not essentialProven track record within the HVAC/Refrigeration industry
Full and clean New Zealand Driver's Licence
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer service focus
Ability to multitask and work independently
close attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
What We Offer:Competitive hourly rate: $30 – $45 per hour (depending on experience)
Guaranteed 40 hours per weekOvertime and after-hours rates available
