Van Driver - Part Time
About the Role**
We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team at **James Wattie Retirement Village** in Havelock North, as a **Van Driver**. This is a part time position working:
- **Monday** 09:30 – 11:30 and 13:30 – 16:00
- **Tuesday** 09:30 – 11:30 and 13:30 – 16:00
- **Wednesday** 13:00 – 16:30
- **Friday** 09:30 – 11:30 and 13:30 – 16:00
We are open to discussion regarding days and times for the right candidate.
In this role you will:
- Ensure the safe and comfortable transportation of residents and others in the village van
- Provide a welcoming, helpful and friendly approach to all passengers, ensuring all outings are enjoyable
- Maintain a strong focus on health and safety including passenger safety, speed, road regulations and vehicle upkeep
- Work closely with and support your colleagues
**About You**
To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have:
- Strong empathy and a genuine passion for supporting older people
- Outstanding communication skills
- Reliable, friendly and professional manner
- Current, clean NZ Drivers Licence
- Current P Endorsed Licence or the ability to gain one. We will support you to obtain this
