OSCAR (Out of School Care and Recreation) House has cared for primary school aged tamariki for 26 years. We're proud of our team and what we provide for tamariki (children), and their whanau (families).

We need a wonderful person for a couple of hours in the afternoons after school and, if possible, the morning shift and holiday programme work is a possibility too.

Applicants need to be enthusiastic and reliable.? You need to enjoy life, have empathy and rapport with our tamariki, good communication and organisational skills and be able to use your common sense (we love common sense!!).

Experience in working with primary aged tamariki is preferable but sometimes these skills overlap with other experiences.

Hours are from between 2:30 -3 and finish between 5:00- 5:30pm during the school term on week days.

Own transport is preferred.

We will provide full and ongoing training; and thorough management support.
