Outreach Community Support Worker /Kaimahi
We have a permanent part time position (20-25 hrs per week), available for a person who is passionate about working in a support role alongside people/whaiora with addiction issues.
The person/kaimahi we are looking for is someone who:
is passionate about providing excellent servicerelates well to a diverse group of individuals/whaiora.
will have excellent communication skills.
can work 1:1 with people/whaiora in the community.
will work flexibly within a small team.
Applicants are required to have a NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Support Work Level 4 as a minimum qualification or an equivalent, applications from those qualified in Drug and Alcohol counselling would also be encouraged. Lived experience is advantageous with at least 2 years in active Recovery.
Basic computer literacy is also required.
Applicants for this position must have NZ Residency or a valid NZ Work Visa and a current New Zealand full Drivers Licence.
