Thebrachytherapy service is well supported by a skilled, experienced, andcollaborative multidisciplinary team.You will be trained in prostate andgynaecological brachytherapy techniques in both the public and private sectors,including low dose rate (LDR) seed brachytherapy

- ll also have the opportunityto participate in research and present at conferences.About theTeam / Service / LocationTheCanterbury Regional Cancer and Haematology Service (CRCHS) provides radiationservices to a regional population of approximately 700,000.
The radiationoncology department includes 11 radiation oncologists, 13 medical oncologists,6 haematologists, 4 palliative care physicians, and a skilled multidisciplinaryteam.We have fourlinear accelerators, HDR brachytherapy capability, and a robust stereotacticprogramme.
Our training programme is fully accredited by the Royal Australianand New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR), with 11 accredited trainingpositions for registrars.
