Key tasks include: Set out and profile for building position utilizing grid and datum references
Handle and place concrete for building foundations and for insitu work above groundInstall precast concrete and finishing lines
Fabricate and erect formwork using proprietary and conventional systems
Erect false work under formwork
Set out for positioning of formwork, cast in items and precast
Supervise staff as directed by the Site Manager / Construction Manager
Key requirements for the role:
A minimum of 2 years proven experience in carpentry work in a relevant or associated industryDemonstrates efficient use of carpentry hand tool, power tools and associated equipment
Understanding and commitment to all Health & Safety requirements
Reliable and committed team player
Accuracy and precision in work Hours: Monday – Friday: 7:30am – 5:00pm Saturday: 7:30am – 4:00pm (dep on workload)
The ideal candidate will ideally have: A trade qualification is preferred, however, experience may substitute for qualification
Health and Safety knowledgeReliable transport and own tools
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Have a can-do attitude
Physically fit
Be able to work legally in NZ
Must have clean slate e.g no criminal convictions due to nature of works we are contracted to do
Candidates are required to apply in writing along with a CV and must be able to demonstrate having at least 2 years' experience doing this type of work.
