You’ll oversee a portfolio of stores across the South Island, working closely with your Store Managers to drive results, deliver memorable customer experiences, and build an incredible team culture.

Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a portfolio of 8–10 stores.
- Drive overall performance across your region – including sales, KPIs, and operational excellence.
- Coach and mentor Store & Assistant Store Managers to become confident, capable leaders.
- Monitor store sales and performance – celebrate wins and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure efficient rostering and wage control aligned with business targets.
- Support team development with ongoing training, succession planning, and performance reviews.
- Maintain strong visual merchandising and stock standards across all locations.
- Ensure stores adhere to all OH&S requirements and legislation.
- Minimum 2 years’ Area Manager experience in a high-volume retail or footwear environment.
- Proven track record of managing and motivating multi-site retail teams.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business performance metrics.
- Passion for leadership, team culture, and people development.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to travel between stores as needed.
