Required Skills:
- Extensive experience in end-to-end project management, delivering multiple projects simultaneously, including those with budgets around $1M, specifically within a financial services environment.
- Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills to define project scope, objectives, and success metrics.
- Proven ability to manage projects across various domains such as digital customer platforms, new product launches, and operational improvements within the financial services sector.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams and leadership.
- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile/Scrum, PRINCE2) and practical experience in applying them.
- Financial and commercial acumen for managing project budgets and ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
Also Required:
- Familiarity with project portfolio management practices.
- Experience presenting project updates to leadership with concise and impactful insights.
- Capability to mentor junior project managers or coordinators in effective delivery approaches.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum Master) are highly desirable.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project scopes and organisational priorities.
- Willingness to manage external vendors and partners while overseeing vendor performance.
