Structural Steel Fabricator/ Rigger /Welder

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret technical drawings and execute engineering project plans
• Deliver fabrication, machining and fitting solutions for upgrades and improvements
• Carry out scheduled and preventive maintenance across production equipment
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical issues
• Maintain accurate records of job orders and timekeeping
• Follow health and safety protocols
• Liaise with team leaders, supervisors, contractors and other departments as needed

• Trade experience of minimum three years or level 4 qualifications or qualification as a Fitter/Fabricator/Welder.
• Proven experience working with construction equipment, heavy transport, or mining equipment.
• Proven experience of a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Welding certifications would be an advantage.

• Maintain a positive, forward-thinking attitude, demonstrating passion for your role.
• Ability to keep calm and think clearly under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Practical and adaptable mindset.
• Makes good judgements with confidence.
• Accurate with a great eye for detail.
