About the Role

Stratford District Council is recruiting for Casual front of house superstars to support the Customer Service Team.

In this role you will provide high quality front line customer service across a range of channels including over the counter, by email and by phone. You will also assist with general administrative tasks within the service centre, including facility bookings and the receipt and processing of customer payments.

You will take pride in creating a friendly and well-presented customer service environment and enjoy helping people. You will respond professionally to both compliments and complaints and build your knowledge so you can confidently provide advice and clear information about council services.

This is a casual position, offered on an on call and as required basis. The successful applicant will be flexible and available to work additional hours to cover leave and busy periods. The salary range for this position is $27.00 to $31.00 per hour with the appointed starting level dependent on the skills and experience of the candidate.

This role will be located at the Stratford District Council, Miranda Street, Stratford.

About You

You will be a professional positive person who is a quick learner and great with people. You will confident with Microsoft Office products and have previous customer service and cash handling experience.

You will work well in a team environment but also on your own and will enjoy looking for continuous improvements for systems and processes.
