Architectural, Structural and Civil Draftsperson

About the Role
As part of our collaborative team, you will play a vital role in transforming ideas into outstanding building designs. You will be involved in every stage of the design and construction process, ensuring high-quality outcomes that meet our clients’ unique requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Use Autodesk AEC applications to develop detailed designs and 3D models.
- Apply Building Information Modelling (BIM) to enhance project efficiency and coordination.
- Ensure compliance with the New Zealand Building Code and an understanding of district planning
- Work closely with sales, construction, clients, and professional consultants to achieve project objectives.
- Interpret architectural and engineering plans, preparing clear specifications and council documentation.
- Manage consenting applications and documentation for local authorities.
- Detail civil works and precast panel elements as required for each project.
- Collaborate with mechanical and HVAC professionals to integrate building services seamlessly.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, effective time management, and strong problem-solving skills throughout
project delivery.
What We are Looking For- Experience using Autodesk AEC applications and 3D modelling tools.
- A sound understanding of BIM processes.
- Knowledge of the NZ Building Code and district planning regulations (or a willingness to learn).
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality outcomes.
- Proven organisational and time management skills.
- An enthusiasm for problem solving and continuous learning.
