SAWMILL MAINTENANCE FITTER – OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE!

This is a hands on position.
To be successful you will:- Hold a NZ recognised L4/L5 trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- Have experience as a trade fitter, preferably in a heavy manufacturing work environment
- Be skilled in hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, values, fabrication, bearing fitment, setup and alignment
- Understand mechanical drawings and deliver high quality work
- Have demonstrated history of being a team player and a ‘Safety first’ approach to planning and carrying out non-routine work
- Have analytical troubleshooting ability
This vacancy is available within the Sawmill Maintenance Team, working Rotational Shifts Monday – Thursday.
Competitive remuneration package is on offer to successful candidates with proven skills and knowledge, including a generous weekly tool allowance, shift allowance and an overtime rate of time and a half, for any work over 40 hours per week.
