HNZ leads the day-to-day running of the health system, with functions delivered at local, district, regional and national levels. About the role:Our Community Nursing Services are driven by a commitment to delivering exceptional, personcentred caresupporting people and whānau in their homes and clinics across the Counties Manukau district.
We provide care to patients with a wide range of acute and complex health needs, making a meaningful difference in the lives of our community every day.We are seeking an experienced nurse with demonstrated leadership capability to step into a Charge Nurse Manager role with the Specialist Community Health Service (SCHS).
This is a pivotal leadership role within SCHS and you will lead the nursing team located at our Otara hub. The team provide care to manage acute and complex needs of our diverse community that is delivered in clinics and the community setting.You will promote excellence in clinical practice, and lead and manage innovative evidence based best nursing practice.
You will provide excellent financial, administrative and operational management to the SCHS Otara team. You will work collaboratively with other service leaders to lead the implementation and monitoring of strategic and operational plans for nursing within the SCHS.The CNM role is supported by the Clinical Manager and the Clinical Nurse Director, Specialist Community Health Service.
