Grada Recruitment is working with a well-known civil contractor in the Tauranga region, looking to hire an experienced Project Manager with a strong understanding of the 3water sector and be a critical team member leading a team across a variety of projects
The Role
As a Project Manager, you will report to the General Manager on the progress of projects in the range of $2 million to $10 million. Tasked with the delivery and financial health of the project, you will be expected to generate a safe and productive culture onsite, leading experienced field staff and providing mentorship where possible.Your projects will be for a mixture of both private and public clients to whom you will be leading the relationships.

With a strong team culture focused on collaboration, Project managers here have the ability to make decisions on behalf of the company and manage the work as they see fit.
The Ideal Candidate- 5+ years of experience within the NZ Civil contracting sector
- Strong communication, both written and verbal
- Proactive attitude and driven to deliver high-quality results
- A tertiary qualification in Civil or Geo-technical Engineering
- Strong understanding of NZS3910 and construction standards
