Commercial Carpenters - Christchurch
Isles Construction is looking for carpentry staff for commercial and residential projects in Christchurch – immediate start available. Please note this is NOT an entry level position and you must be resident in New Zealand
Carpenters – qualified with own tools and commercial building experience – able to interpret drawings and plans, be able to work unsupervised and willing to supervise more junior staff members as required
Hammer Hands – experienced with own tools and commercial building experience with own reliable transport
We offer a minimum of 44 hours a week, competitive wages (plus tool allowance), uniform and the opportunity for progression within the company. You also get a paid day off for your birthday (after 12 months of working for us!)
The successful candidates will have:
Appropriate experience in commercial construction; A great worth ethic and time management – including the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines; An understanding and commitment to health and safety; Have own toolsApplicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa and must be able to pass Ministry of Justice and client security checks.
