About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated and reliable Apprentice Builder to join our team. This is a great opportunity to kickstart your career in the construction industry while gaining hands-on experience and working toward a nationally recognized trade qualification.
As an apprentice builder, you’ll work alongside qualified tradesmen on a variety of residential New builds, Renovations, Decks and all types of residential construction, learning every aspect of the building process—from frames to finishing work.
Key Responsibilities- Assist tradesmen and site supervisors with daily building tasks
- Help with measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
- Carry out general site labouring duties such as cleaning, organizing, and preparing work areas
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Follow worksite health and safety procedures at all times
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn the building trade
- Punctual, reliable, and hardworking
- Good attention to detail and a positive attitude
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Able to work effectively in a team environment
- Current NZ driver’s license (Full/Restricted)
- Full on-the-job training and mentorship
- Support to complete your trade qualification (Certificate in Carpentry / Building & Construction level 4 (BCITO)
