Experienced Industrial Electrician Foreman

Canstaff is seeking an experiencedIndustrial Electrician Foremanto lead electrical works across industrial and infrastructure projects in theWaikato and Taup? region. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys being on the tools while guiding and supporting a team.

About the Role

You will oversee day-to-day electrical operations on site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. The role combines supervision, planning, and hands-on electrical work across industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of industrial electricians

Plan and coordinate daily site activities and workflows

Carry out hands-on industrial electrical installation, maintenance, and fault-finding

Ensure compliance with NZ electrical and health & safety regulations

Liaise with project managers, clients, and other trades

Mentor apprentices and junior electricians

Manage job documentation, reporting, and quality checks

About You

NZ Registered Electrician with a current practising licence

Strong background in industrial electrical work

Previous foreman or team leadership experience preferred

Confident with plant, machinery, and industrial systems

Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills

Safety-focused with a proactive leadership style
