About the RoleOphthalmology has Non-Training Registrar roles suitable for doctors interested in extending their experience in this speciality. Prior experience is not necessary but familiarity with the slit lamp and taking intra-ocular pressure measurements is vital to the role.
Within a month you will be expected to be first on-call for eye acutes. The posts can be coordinated with the Greenlane Eye Dept to get six months experience in Hamilton and six months in Auckland.
