We provide quality outpatient gastroscopy and colonoscopy, ERCP, liver elastography, outpatient clinical care, inpatient gastroenterology care and bowel cancer screening services to the 180,000 people in our district. We are affiliated to the University of Otago, have a training gastroenterology registrar in our department, and have a research relationship with Massey University.
This environment provides excellent opportunity for both teaching and research.This position is based at Palmerston North Hospital, a 350- bed hospital in the city of Palmerston North, Manawatu, a city in the Lower North Island of New Zealand.
Palmerston North Hospital is a secondary hospital and offers most medical and surgical specialities with the exception of Cardiothoracic, Plastic and Neurosurgery.
