About the RoleWe are seeking House Officers to join us at Hawke's Bay Fallen Soldiers' Memorial Hospital. About the Team/Service/ LocationWe employ a team of 190 Resident Medical Officers, made up of 67 House Officers and 123 Registrars.
Our teaching programme is comprehensive featuring Grand Rounds, specialty-specific clinical meetings, pathology conferences, clinic-radiology discussions, and weekly teaching sessions. We foster a diverse, dynamic, and collegial work environment with a strong focus on staff well-being and support.
Hawke's Bay Hospital is a 400-bed secondary level public hospital in Hastings, serving a population of over 180,000 people. We offer both acute and elective care across a wide range of medical and surgical specialties, including paediatrics, obstetrics gynaecology, and more.We are supported by a strong regional ICU and flight team with tertiary support for cardiac intervention, cardiothoracic surgery, plastics and neurosurgery from Wellington, ensuring comprehensive care for a diverse patient population.

About you- You're a Resident Medical Officer (RMO) PGY2 or above. For our UK applicants you will need to have completed Foundation Years 1 2
- Not suitable for PGY1
- You are registered or eligible for general registration, with the Medical Council of New Zealand
