Job Summary:
As the Food Safety Manager, you will be responsible for implementing, and monitoring food safety to ensure compliance You will also have the opportunity to gain experience in general office and administrative duties, offering a broader career development path within our company.

Whatwe'relooking for:
- Previousexperience in compliance or quality control ideally within a supermarket or hospitality environment.
- Understanding of unit standards 167 and 168 or equivalent.
- Capability with implementing andmaintainingfood Safety procedures.
- Great communicationskills and ability to influence our department managers and wider teams.
- Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
The Role
AsFood Safety Manager you'llbe responsible forensuringthe storecomplies withall food safety, compliance regulations- All Food safety is appropriatelymaintainedat a level which ensures compliance in all audits
- Actively promote food safety to all staff.
- Ensure regulatory compliance across all departments through the provision ofappropriate training.
- Following store processes with regards to product recalls and customer complaints
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of food preparation, storage, and handling areas.
- Train employees on proper food safety practices.
- Investigate and document food safety incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies and respond to audits or inspections.
- Monitor product recalls and ensure appropriate action is taken when necessary.
- Assist with office-related tasks including documentation, scheduling, and inventory systems as needed.
- Keep up to date with industry trends and regulatory changes.
Qualifications:
- Experience in food safety or quality assurance, preferably in a retail or supermarket setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Willingness to learn and assist with office administration.
- Excellent communication, training, and leadership skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
