We are a local family owned vehicle towing and recovery business. With state of the art equipment, a fleet of service trucks and a passionate team we cover towing and roadside assistance needs including; breakdowns, accident towing, recoveries, luxury vehicle transportation, secure storage and much more.

We work closely with most insurance providers and we are highly regarded by our stakeholders. We service all areas of Auckland on a 24/7 basis, and we make long-haul trips throughout the North Island.

Role

We are looking for a full time Operations Coordinator & Office Support team member to coordinate jobs with a range of stakeholders and provide administrative support to the business. In this role, you will be responsible for keeping track of our drivers, taking calls from our customers and coordinating jobs in an efficient and effective manner.

This is a relationship management position as well as a dispatching position, so you must ensure our customers are satisfied with our customer service and our drivers are supported. You will also be providing accounts and office support to the business.

Responsibilities
  • Take inbound and outbound calls and service requests from customers and contractors
  • Dispatch and coordinate jobs with drivers and customers
  • Work closely with the Operations Lead and other Managers to manage schedules, trainings and development of standard operating procedures
  • Build and maintain strong client relationship with key stakeholders
  • Build and maintain rapport with drivers
  • Understand the operating costs of the business and work towards growth and profitability
  • Provide accounts and administrative support to ensure the business runs smoothly
  • Ensure billing, payment and invoicing processes are followed accurately
Requirements
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills (essential)
  • Ability to make quick and critical decisions
  • Excellent attention to detail, reliable and ability to work under minimum supervision (essential)
  • Strong IT skills and ability to use different programmes (essential)
  • Dispatch and/or coordinating experience (ideal)
  • Previous experience in this industry will highly advantageous (ideal)
  • Be available to work a Tuesday to Saturday shift

Full training and support will be provided and hours will be negotiated and mutually agreed based on the business needs.
