Delivery Van Driver / Laundry Assistant
We are a Manukau based commercial Laundry.
We are looking for a Full-Time employee to work as a Laundry Delivery Driver / Laundry Assistant.
You will work normal hours during the week and rostered Saturdays (about once a month once fully trained).
It would help if you have good physical fitness to meet the role's physical demands i.e. lifting laundry bags etcIn this job, you will have variety in your day.
You will use our delivery vans to collect / deliver laundry to our customers largely in the South, East and Central Auckland areas. A clean full NZ Drivers License is required.
In downtime from driving you will be helping the laundry assistant team by picking up bags of laundry, sorting them into correct piles, and loading and unloading washing machines and dryers, packing garments etc.
You must be focused on working safely and caring for the safety of others.
The role requires good English literacy as well as numeracy, as orders need to be counted and recorded.Good clear verbal communication style is necessary as this is a customer facing role.
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.Full training will be provided however previous experience will be an advantage.
