We are Cavanagh Panelbeating Ltd (Cav Panel)a trusted Collision Repair Centre and Smith & Smith Authorized Dealership with over 50 years in the Te Puke community.
We are currently seeking a dynamic and reliable Tow Truck Driver/General Hand Extraordinaire to join our busy team! In this versatile role, you will primarily drive the tow truck during working hours, and on occasion, assist after hours on a rostered system with the other tow truck drivers.This may include attending accidents and responding to police salvage requests.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive the tow truck during working hours and be available on a rostered after-hours system.
- Assist with accident and police salvage recovery operations.
- Provide excellent customer service during salvage recoveries in a professional and friendly manner.
- In downtime, assist in our workshops (Paint, Panel, or Glass), gaining new skills while supporting our team.
- Assist with customer pickups and drop-offs.
- You have a great, friendly attitude and enjoy working as part of a close-knit team.
- You are flexible and willing to contribute to various tasks within the business.
- Experience with driving a tow truck is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- An HT License Class 2 and V Endorsement is preferred.
- You’re reliable, hardworking, and take pride in delivering outstanding customer service.
- You live in Te Puke township/ Rural or Papamoa area
- Full-time position with the opportunity to earn extra money through after-hours salvage work
- Gain hands-on experience in different areas of the workshop while learning new skills.
