This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the health outcomes of your community by fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.You will be responsible for:driving strategic and operational initiatives across multiple service areasensuring compliance with sector standardsoverseeing budgets and capital planningleading a high-functioning, multidisciplinary team.Working in close partnership with clinical leaders, business analysts, administrative teams, and external stakeholders, you will contribute to the delivery of responsive and equitable health care services in a rural setting.View position description.About youAs a Service Manager, you will bring proven operational leadership and experience in healthcare service delivery, with a track record of managing people, performance, and resources in a complex environment.You will need to demonstrate:a relevant graduate and post-graduate qualification in a health discipline8-10 years of experience in a similar role or leading a medium-sized health team/practiceexperience leading and managing clinical staffa strong understanding of the New Zealand health sector and Te Tiriti o Waitangi in actionexcellent communication, leadership, and relationship management skills.Desired:Post-graduate qualification in health management (or currently working towards one)Previous experience managing a rural hospital or similar health serviceWorking at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand
