Class 5 semi-truck driver– steel–casual/ Part time
Christchurch
We are looking for casual/part time class 5 flatbed semi-trailer drivers to deliver steel. Based in Bromley, Christchurch.
Any additional training provided.
Confirmation of being reliable and on time from previous employers is required.
- Driver requirements are:
- Must have class 5 driver’s license.
- Knowledge of Steel Transportation
- knowledge of steel restraint requirements
- Ability to chain and tarp loads of steel.
- Proven ability to reverse large flatbed semi-trailers into metro sites.
- One year’s experience driving class 5 semi-trucks.
- To show good teamwork and time management
The role is casual on call as required - dayshift, weekdays, with some Saturday work at times.
PPE suppliedAny additional training provided.
Confirmation of being reliable and on time from previous employers is required.
Must have permanent residency.
