Treescape is looking for an experienced Arborist Scoper to join our Otahuhu-based team.
As an Arborist Scoper with Treescape you will spend your days undertaking a wide range of tree and vegetation work relating to the maintenance and management of trees and other vegetation working across Auckland’s CBD and surrounding areas. As an Arborist Scoper, you will play a key part in delivering and planning a range of tree care services. You’ll use your practical experience to assess work sites, scope job requirements, and support all teams. While still semi-on-the-tools, this role is ideal for someone transitioning towards greater responsibility and oversight.

Ideally, you will have:
- NZQA Arboriculture certification Level 3 or overseas equivalent
- Full Class 2 driver’s license (minimum)
- High regard for health and safety
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the field
- Ability to lead a team and work autonomously
- Clear communication skills
- The ability to de-escalate situations
- Strong customer service
- Current advanced first aid certificate

The fine print:- To be eligible for this position you must currently be living in NZ and have a legal right to work in this country (i.e. NZ Citizenship, be a permanent resident, or hold full working rights). - Candidates will be required to undergo drug and alcohol testing, a medical exam, and Ministry of Justice checks as part of the recruitment process (at Treescape’s cost).
- This is a permanent and full-time position working Monday to Friday 47.5 hours per week.
