In this vital role, you’ll provide expert nutrition support and education to individuals living with diabetes and their whānau, helping to empower them toward effective self-management. Working as part of an integrated care model, you’ll collaborate closely with partner organisations and healthcare teams across a range of settings.
Your ability to tailor assessments and interventions to meet the holistic needs of patients, along with your strong communication skills, will be key to engaging with diverse communities and improving health outcomes.For information on the salary band and the position description, please click here.
About the Service Health New Zealand| Te Whatu Ora Taranaki employs approximately 350 allied health professionals across its services, and we’re growing our inpatient physical health rehabilitation team by 60%. You will be joining a friendly team that is diverse in skills and experience, a team that welcomes collaboration, and that values the contribution of each team member.

Our team provides rehabilitation care across acute and non-acute inpatient wards as part of Allied Health, and we’re happy to support other teams to ensure their success.
