About our group | Mō te roopu The purpose of the Hazardous Substances & New Organisms Group is to manage consent application and reassessment processes.
This role includes providing advice and support to applicants and delegated decision makers, and to conduct delegated decision making for the manufacture and import of hazardous substances, the import or release of new organisms; the reassessment of hazardous substances; the import and export of hazardous waste and ozone depleting substances; liaison with a range of stakeholders (including submitters, applicants and other government and international agencies) on statutory decision making.
About the role | Mō te tūnga This is a fixed term role for six months.The Administrator will provide administrative support for application processing and decision making under a number of pieces of environmental legislation.
This will also include providing administration support to project teams, logistical support for stakeholder meetings/conferences, management of enquiries, document management and support for the distribution of documents.
An excellent opportunity for someone to demonstrate their proficient organisation and communication skills who is looking to work as part of a cohesive team.

Salary Range | $57,824
- $80,153 per annum (midpoint $66,794).
