About the RoleAs the Government Services and Resolution Manager you will ensure effective management of consumer engagement, especially with third parties. This includes meeting organisational responsibilities to respond to consumers, liaising with third party agencies, and reporting outcomes.
You will be providing advice and recommendations to Operation Directors and Executive Leaders in managing complex consumer engagements helping to shape our approach to drive improvement and equity. Click here to view the position description.

About youTo be successful in this role, you will hold a relevant graduate qualification and have extensive experience in all aspects of managing communication in complex situations on behalf of senior leaders, engaging with users of services and their whanau to achieve mutual outcomes.It will also be essential that you are able to demonstrate:Experience at mediation or resolution of complaints or disputes.The ability to liaise with third party agencies to meet mandated requirements relating to OIAs, HDC, Privacy, Ministerial queries and MP requests and Parliamentary questions.Support the district complaints and feedback processes.An understanding of the significance of and obligations under Te Tiriti o Waitangi, including how to apply Te Tiriti principles in a meaningful way.
