CNC / Edgebander Operator / Cabinet Maker

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced CNC / Edgebander Operator to join the team at Prime Kitchens.

You’ll be working alongside a friendly, supportive team that values a positive workplace culture. This role offers variety and autonomy, with a consistent pipeline of work and diverse projects, no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CNC machinery and edgebanders efficiently and safely
  • Interpret and work from technical drawings
  • Manage and complete jobs independently to a high standard
  • Ensure all work meets quality and production targets
  • Maintain a safe and organised work environment
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and regulations
About You:
You are a skilled CNC / Edgebander Operator who takes pride in delivering high-quality work. You’ll also bring:
  • Strong knowledge of production processes and CNC machining (Experience with CNC machines and OTT edgebanders is an advantage but not essential)
  • Ability to accurately interpret drawings and specifications
  • High attention to detail with a focus on quality and efficiency
  • Experience using joinery equipment and a strong safety mindset
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • A proactive mindset with a genuine desire to excel
  • High levels of integrity, professionalism, and accountability
  • Commitment to seeing jobs through to completion
  • Trade qualified in Joinery, Furniture Making or similar beneficial but not required
