Job Description
Are you passionate about food service and ensuring quality meals reach patients, staff, and visitors? Bowen Hospital, part of Evolution Healthcare, is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to support meal preparation, service, and kitchen hygiene in a professional healthcare setting.
About the role
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality food service within our healthcare environment.- Preparing light meals and sandwiches
- Delivering and serving meals to patients and staff
- Operating the dishwasher and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
- Making quality barista-style coffee
- Supporting chefs and the wider team as required

You’ll bring:
- Experience in a café, hospitality, or healthcare kitchen environment
- Confidence using commercial kitchen equipment
- A positive, adaptable attitude with a willingness to assist wherever needed
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Basic food safety knowledge (or a willingness to learn)
