Senior Marquee Installer/Rigger
Due to continued growth and success in the North Island, our Hamilton branch is excited to be now looking for an additional team member to join a great team and a great company, a person who loves traveling, working outside and is a team player.
ideally we are looking for a senior marquee installer/rigger, this is an exciting industry and the role covers events all over the country. Based in Hamilton you should be fit, reliable, and enjoy outdoor physical work, and be prepared to travel NZ with our business.If your happy to be away from home on occasion, this role could be perfect for you!
The successful applicant will preferably possess the following key skills and attributes:
- Familiar with the installation & dismantling of marquees with Apex Level 1 or 2 accreditation
- Practically minded and good at working with your hands.
- Enjoy working outdoors.
- Self-motivated
- Have a “can do” attitude.
- Confident working with basic tools
- Physical fitness to meet the demands of some medium to heavy manual labour.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively within a team environment.
- Hold at least a Class 2 driver’s license and preferably Class 4 and/or 5 license and an F endorsement.
- Have your own transport.
- Conscious of the importance of Health and Safety
- Honest and reliable
- Friendly and service orientated.
We offer competitive remuneration for candidates with previous experience and the role includes ongoing training with a variety of skills and qualifications in an exciting industry.
The applicant must be able to travel away from home throughout NZ on occasion, particularly during the busy event months, at peak times there is also some weekend work required.
