We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Hoist Technician to join our friendly, hardworking team at Independent Hoist Services NZ Ltd. We install, service, and repair vehicle hoists across the Upper North Island – from Tauranga to Whangarei, including Hamilton and the greater Auckland region.
The Role:You’ll be responsible for installing, inspecting, and servicing a range of vehicle hoists across workshops, dealerships, and service centres. Every day is different, with a mix of hands-on work, site visits, and troubleshooting.
What We’re Looking For:- Mechanical, electrical, or engineering background
- Full NZ Driver’s Licence
- Strong problem-solving skills and safety-first mindset
- Able to work independently and manage time well
- Willing to travel within the region (overnight stays occasionally required)
- $60k–$80k salary, depending on experience
- Company vehicle and phone
