Construction Labour - Alexandra

We are well-established and fast-growing construction company currently located in Central Otago. We have various project that are ongoing. We are looking for a construction labourer that can join our team. You will be involved in general operation duties with possibilities of upskilling down the line.

• Handle a variety of routine tasks associated with erecting and repairing structures and facilities.
• Loading and unloading building and construction materials, tools and equipment.
• Gather materials for workers to handle on job sites.
• Excavating earth and clearing and levelling sites
• Mixing, pouring and spreading materials such as concrete, plaster and mortar
• Erecting and dismantling temporary structures such as barricades and scaffolding
• Operate hand & power tools, and other equipment under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
• Follow instructions and Health & Safety policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Clean and organize work areas, keeping a tidy and efficient workspace.
• Work together with team members to meet project deadlines.

• Similar experience would be ideal but not essential.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labour tasks.
• A can-do attitude with a good work ethic.
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
• Organized and punctual.
• Able to work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communications skills and problem-solving skills..
• A professional and hands-on approach to work.
