Residential Carpenter

We’re on the hunt for a skilled residential carpenter to join a busy team working on new build homes in the Selwyn/Rolleston area. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s confident working independently and producing high-quality work across all stages of residential construction.

Pay rate: $32–36 per hour (paid weekly)

You’ll be part of a professional residential crew focused on high-spec new builds across the Selwyn and Rolleston region. Daily work includes:

• Framing, cladding, fix-out, and finishing stages
• Reading and interpreting construction plans
• Ensuring a high standard of workmanship and site safety
• Working closely with site supervisors and subcontractors
• Maintaining a tidy, organised worksite

Role Requirements:

• Fully qualified carpenter (LBP preferred)
• Minimum 5 years’ residential experience
• Site Safe ticket
• Own tools and reliable transport
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Clean criminal record
