He angitutanga / The opportunity:

We are looking for multiple enthusiastic Casual Kitchen Hands to work at Taranaki Hospital. Hours of work are on an "as and when required" basis rostered across 7 days.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

In this position you will be responsible for:

  • Providing superb customer service to our patients
  • Maintaining clean & tidy dining/kitchen areas
  • Washing dishes, tray line service, delivering meals to patients
  • Basic food preparation.

As our ideal candidate you will be a team player, have good time management and customer care skills, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude. You will adhere to the company's procedures and policies contributing to working in a safe workplace.

He korero mou / About you:

  • Some experience in food preparation and kitchen work
  • A food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167) or be happy to train for one
  • Superior customer service skills but most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.
