Selwyn - Diesel Mechanic
We are looking for a Diesel Mechanic to join our Southern workshop team based in Darfield and keep our regional fleet running at its best.
This is a great opportunity for a mechanic looking for a structured workweek, hands-on work, and the backing of an experienced support network.
What will your workday look like?- Your main focus will be on routine servicing, minor repairs, and ensuring our fleet are ready for daily operations
- Diagnosing and repairing faults across a mixed fleet of urban buses.
- Work with outwork providers to manage maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Carrying out small fault repairs and general servicing.

Who are we looking for:
- A skilled and qualified Diesel Mechanic who can work independently while being part of a wider support network.
- Strong fault diagnosis and repair skills.
- A team player who can coordinate with external service providers and internal support teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage third-party service providers.
- Full NZ driver's licence (Class 2 or higher preferred).
