Warehouse Support Officer | Christchurch

We are looking for a reliable, motivated, hands-on Warehouse Support Officer to take full ownership of our Christchurch warehouses and support our two business divisions. We offer flexibility in your work schedule as you manage our operations.This role is Monday to Friday, weekend off!
This is a busy, operations-focused position that requires strong time management, communication, and organisational skills. You will be responsible for all on-site warehouse activities, including stock control and maintaining inventory levels in line with business needs.

What you’ll be doing:
- Dual Warehouse Ownership: Manage the stock lifecycle, ordering, and receipting across two distinct on-site warehouses (Pest Control & Hygiene)
- Relationship Management: Act as the central point of contact for our field technicians and van drivers, ensuring they have the stock they need for maximum daily productivity
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and process sales orders
- Stock & Freight Integrity: Load/unload deliveries, organise monthly stocktakes, and proactively report any inventory discrepancies
- Site Maintenance & Safety: Maintain a clean, organised, and secure warehouse environment, including managing waste operations and the washbay area
- Security: Manage daily warehouse lock-up procedures to ensure total site security
What we’re looking for:
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in a warehouse or inventory role (preferred)
- Licensing: Clean Full NZ Driver’s License and Current Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Mindset: Reliable, organised, and highly comfortable working independently with an "ownership" attitude
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with inventory management systems, ERP experience is a definite bonus!
- Physical Fitness: Comfortable doing hands-on work, being on your feet, and safely lifting/moving products
- Skills: Excellent communication, customer service skills, and a positive willingness to learn
- Safety First: A strict commitment to Health & Safety procedures
