What makes this role different to other scientist roles is at the end of the day, you know that you have been directly involved in someone's care. As a Medical Laboratory Scientist, you will be responsible for performing a range of duties related to pre transfusion, antenatal and diagnostic testing and the issue of blood and blood products for clinical purposes.
You will be joining a well-established team of Scientists and Technicians committed to quality service, high standards and patient wellbeing.Your base salary will be between $71,070 and $107,600 depending on skills, experience and registration.About youTo be successful in this role you must be registered as a Medical Laboratory Scientist with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand or a new graduate seeking provisional registration.
You will have a positive attitude, be committed to patient care and have the flexibility to fully participate in our 24-hour, 7-day roster.
