About the role: As an apprentice, you’ll get stuck in and learn on the tools from day one.
The job covers a variety of work including:
- Maintenance
- Residential new builds
- Commercial projects involving all three disciplines
- You’ll be earning while you’re learning, working towards your plumbing, gasfitting, and drainlaying qualifications over the next 4–5 years.
We’re after someone with a bit of life experience. Maybe you’ve worked in another trade or hands on job before or just enjoy practical work and figuring things out. Most of all, we want someone who’s reliable, ready to learn, and committed for the long haul.
You’ll be expected to be based in Kawerau and available and willing to work occasional overtime and some Saturdays, when required.A team-focussed approach and good communication skills, along with a positive and proactive attitude, motivation to succeed, and a strong work ethic are all essential to being part of this company.
You’ll also need:- At least a restricted driver’s licence
- Be able to pass a drug test and pre-employment medical
- NZ citizenship or permanent residency
