The position is full time with a permanent employment agreement.

Trade Assist is looking for experienced Waterproofers & Applicators to join the team in Christchurch! If you've got skills in tanking, liquid membranes, torch-on, sealants, and resin applications in the commercial sector, we want to hear from you.

Maximum number of hours per week is 55 hours.

What we are looking for:

2 to 3 years of experience in construction.
Proven experience in commercial waterproofing - tanking, liquid membranes, torch-on, sealants, resin application (is preferred but not essential)
Site Safe ticket - must have
Reliability & a strong work ethic
Physically fit & able to handle the demands of the job

Tasks:

Applies caulking and sealants to joints and gaps in structures using specialised equipment
Lays membranes and sprays or brushes on protective coatings to surfaces to prevent penetration of moisture
Inspects and repairs existing waterproofing systems

Measures and cuts waterproofing materials to fit specific areas
